i purchased this topper to replace the existing topper in my select comfort mattress. it is just soft enough to give back support but not too soft to cause back pain if you like to sleep on your stomach like i do. We have been using now for a month and all my back pain is gone and i am sleeping much better. also, we used the king size for the cal king mattress and it works perfect. all you have to do is cut about 6" from the side and use it at the foot of the bed. but this will only work if you are putting in the pillow top and zipping it up.

My husband described this product as the worst night of sleep in his life. It is a bit like sleeping in a hole. It is not at all firm. However, that is not why I have given this product 1 star. That rating is based on the customer service I have received since. Because this product does not come directly from Amazon, to return it you have to send a request for return instructions. In the last 3 weeks, I have sent 2 of these requests. This morning I received 2 different emails stating that the return requests had been cancelled because I asked them to cancel them....which I NEVER did. The window of opportunity to return this item closes in 2 days, which I find very convenient. Also, I just received an email from Amazon stating that the seller can not view my new return request (my third) because there is something wrong with their email system. Once again....convenient.

This has to be the best mattress topper I have ever slept on! No more back aches. I actually WANT to go lay down now, whereas before, I dreaded sleeping since I'd wake up with back aches and muscle spasms. If you're on the fence about this purchase, don't think twice! DO IT!
